Although I've had Flip Side on the CLE bucket list for some time, it took me a while to make my way over. I have to really be in the mood for a burger, especially when I'm traveling. It's just a lot of food to eat. So when the hankering for a burger finally came around I had to make it to Flip Side. Located in the beautiful Cleveland suburb of Chagrin Falls, Flip Side is an awesome burger joint with lots of different options to top your meat and your fries.

I had hard time choosing a burger for the evening. Everything on the menu just sounded mouthwatering delicious. You can oder the Simplicity Burger if you're looking for just lettuce, pickle and tomato. I was craving more, like bacon and eggs. Lucky for me the Shawn's burger satisfied both requirements and then some. Underneath that perfectly fried egg was bacon, melty provolone cheese and grilled onions. The words I would use to describe this burger include awesome, fantastic, burgerlicious and eggcellent. I ate every, single bite. The burger was juicy and tender. The bun was not forgotten and given the perfect toast treatment. I don't know if their mayo was anything special, but it sure tasted that way. All in all, it's one of the best burgers I've ever had and I consider myself a burger connoisseur.

Tripled cooked fries with mushroom gravy

Instead of ordering individual sides you order sides to share. Luckily I was with one of my foodie adventure buddies and we gladly and happily shared these fries that were covered in a mushroom gravy. The fries were delicious and perfectly cooked - crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Other topping you can order include chili cheese or BBQ brisket with pickled jalapenos. Yeah, totally.
