Bantam & Biddy - Amelia Island, FL

Little did I know how much I would appreciate not only a gluten free menu, but also a restaurant with dedicated kitchen spaces and appliances for gluten free cooking. Lucky to have stumbled upon Bantam + Biddy in the ever-fabulous Amelia Island, FL. Bantam + Biddy as created by Chef Shaun Dotty in Atlanta, GA, which has locations in Ansley Mall and the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International airport along with Chattanooga, TN.

I ordered the protein scramble, which was made with egg whites, chicken, goat cheese (cheddar is also a choice), and scallions with a side of fruit. Although I didn’t get the gluten-free bread, they do offer one, which is great because most places don’t. It was a filling and satisfying scramble, especially with the goat cheese. This actually kick started my exploration into different types of goat cheese and I now get honey goat cheese from time to time to add to my buttered gluten free toast in the mornings.

Highly recommend Bantam + Biddy, especially if you’re looking for a super safe gluten free kitchen. And having a location in the Atlanta airport makes it that much easier to foodie adventure on the go.
