New Year, New #bloggoals

When I first started my blog a few years ago I didn't think it would grow beyond friends and family. I wanted to share my love of trying new food in hopes of getting others to move past their comfort zone. Countless times have I said "never" just to find one meal that changes my mind. I love finding something new and would love everyone to experience the same feeling.

Fast forward to today and I have more than just family and friends that like, comment, and share my blog. It blows my mind and I am so grateful to see complete strangers interact with me in the blogosphere.

I have to admit though. I've been away for a while for a couple of reasons. I was traveling less so I was less inspired to write about food. And even though I was traveling less, it meant more actual work to do on the home front. Project deadlines and late nights, my "day job" getting in the way.

With the new year I'm ready to reset and announce some #bloggoals. First goal, a redesign. I hope you like the new look as much as I do. It's amazing what a difference a small makeover can do. I feel inspired already and look forward to bringing you my latest adventures.

Second goal, a new schedule. I will still post new foodie adventures every Friday so you're ready for the weekend. Every other Tuesday I will post something food related, but not necessarily a new adventure. I don't write about every place I go, only the ones I've deemed "blog worthy". I figure if it wasn't all that great why write about it. Tuesdays I'll share things like a bucket list I've made for a friend or a foodie article that I find interesting. Maybe even something new I made myself at home.

Two goals, one of which is already done. I'm keeping it simple and reasonable so I can continue to be inspired and pay it forward to you. Check back this Friday with a food adventure from my recent trip "home" to California. I can't wait to share it with you!

Comment below with a goal or two you have this year. Let's see how we do!
