Grovewood Tavern & Wine Bar - Cleveland, OH
My first trip to Cleveland started with a work dinner at Grovewood Tavern & Wine Bar. I had the special so the name of the exact dish escapes me now, nevertheless it was quite a treat. I had a spelt pasta with a creamy sauce, topped with salmon and tossed with butternut squash. The salmon was perfectly cooked and this was the first time someone asked me how I want my salmon cooked. It was medium and that is probably how I will have my salmon cooked from now on.
And of course, I had to have dessert. There was creme brûlée on the menu and it was just what I’d expect from any creme brûlée
…marvelously delicious.
The location was unique in that it was in the middle of a neighborhood. The ambience was cool and sophisticated and would be a great place to hang out and try more local flare.
