Frasher's - Scottsdale, AZ

You ever walk into a restaurant, look around, and for a split second (or two) think about actually sticking around for dinner? Well, that was general sentiment walking into Frasher’s for the first time. It’s a lounge who’s décor has seen better days. It’s a little dark and a little old school Italian mobster hideout. However, as with most places with good if not great food, you really shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. I was not expecting to enjoy my meal and completely forgot to take a photo, but it was very, very good. I ordered the 6oz filet mignon cooked to a perfect medium. It was grilled, very tender and the perfect size. I ordered broccoli as my side dish. It’s not very often that I would say “this is very good broccoli”. I mean let’s face it, it’s broccoli after all. But this really was a very good broccoli. It was tender but still crispy; just the way I like it. If you’re ever in town and want a good steak without the fuss of a fancy smancy joint, Frasher’s is the place to go.
