Bravo! Cucina Italiana - Woodmere, OH
Recall the rededication post where I made no promises to take photos every time I ate. Well this was one of those times. I will try to remember to snap pics in the future.
I had a three course meal accompanied by the rare alcohol spirit. Although I normally don’t drink (mainly because I’m a light weight and am usually driving) I took the opportunity to enjoy a Pomegranate Martini (light on the alcohol as much as possible) since I was having a heavy meal and not the DD.
I started with the lobster bisque made with sherry and diced shrimp. The flavors between the sherry and the lobster was very well balanced. I’ve had many a lobster bisque that was too tangy. The main entree was a 5 oz Bravo! fillet mignon with shrimp scampi. One cannot really go wrong with the fillet and the scampi was also perfectly balanced with the garlic and butter sauce. And for dessert, since I was at an Italian restaurant, what would be dinner without the traditional tiramisu. Delish!!
After all that food, oddly enough I didn’t feel stuffed. Everything was very well made. I also discovered a beer that is on my like list, Blue Moon. I am on a mission to find beers that suit my pallet. To date, with the recent addition of Blue Moon, that list is now has two with the other being a pear ale.
